Description: The Rauscher Farm conservation area includes pasture, woodlands, and wetland areas. The Rauscher Farm parcel abuts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) property on one side and has a section that borders the shoreline of Clamshell Pond. The woodland and wetland areas are considered priority habitats for rare plants and animal species. The Rauscher Farm land is part of the Mount Pisgah Conservation District, which extends from Sudbury through Northborough to Berlin and Clinton. The area is open to passive recreation that will not disturb significant natural features and will avoid or minimize threats to the conservation values of Rauscher Farm and surrounding areas.
